Chiidoku Review
A free logic grid with a cute face, a real ramp, and no invented party-puzzle fantasy.
The short verdict
Chiidoku is a free Roblox logic puzzle from 미지 스튜디오 / Unknown404_Dev, live since 4 August 2026. It looks like a sticker book. It plays like uniqueness Sudoku on colored polyominoes, with a Minesweeper-flavored “count what is still legal” job. Official rules forbid adjacent Chiikawas. That one sentence is the review’s most useful warning for players coming from Queens-style puzzles.
Play it if you want a quiet grid that still bites. Skip it if you wanted a Chiikawa adventure game, a horror map, or a party puzzler. Lobbies hold up to 50 avatars. Each board is still solved alone. This is not a hidden shared-board mode. There is not one.
As of 29 August 2026 the universe still advertised 400 campaign levels, infinite generated mode, daily missions, and a coin shop for faces. Game passes were still Heart + 1 at 149 Robux and 2x Rewards at 249 Robux. Public codes: none we could confirm. Dedicated scripts: none listed. YouTube walkthroughs for this place: none we would embed without inventing an ID. Other Chiikawa Roblox videos are different games. Do not confuse them.
What it does well
The rule sheet is short enough to memorize on the getting started page and deep enough to fill a solve guide. Early campaign boards teach forced cells without a lecture. Later boards teach pointing and patience. Infinite mode exists so the product does not die at level 400. That split is honest design.
The mascot work is the hook, not the mechanic. Faces from the roster do not change legality. Power is your scan. In a Roblox catalog full of luck rolls, that is a feature.
Daily missions give a reason to open the place on a busy day without pretending you will clear fifty numbered levels. Pair them with how to get coins and the shop stays a collection, not a second boss.
What it does not do
It does not teach with a long cinematic. There is no official trailer we could fairly embed. The Roblox description is the pitch: cute, 400, infinite, dailies, coins. If you need video, you will not find a dedicated Chiidoku campaign VO as of this writing. We will not paste a horror-obby Chiikawa link and call it a tutorial.
It does not have a public Trello, Discord, or code shout we could list on the links hub. That is a gap for a game already past 230k visits. Players will invent Discord links. Treat them as unofficial until the group page says otherwise.
It does not have badges. Completion is your own numbered ladder and your own infinite streak. If you collect badges as proof, this place will feel unfinished. If you collect finished boards, it will not.
Difficulty and fairness
Hearts are fair if you accept them as a fee. They are annoying if you expected a hint. The hearts page exists because the counter is the main complaint after “why did placing two tokens cost a heart?” Both complaints are the same game working as designed.
Late campaign is mean about region shape, not about hidden information. You can see every color. You can see every empty. Failures are commitments. That is fairer than a luck roll and harsher than a cozy idle.
Mobile mis-taps are the unfair slice. That is a device problem documented on controls, not a logic problem. Play snaky regions on a larger screen if hearts keep vanishing on legal intent.
Money, ranked without hype
The puzzle is free. That is the review’s money headline.
- Heart + 1 (149) — spare life. Worth it after your deaths are rare mis-taps. Not worth it as a guessing permit. Full notes on the pass tier list.
- 2x Rewards (249) — salary booster for dailies and clears you already do. Buy it when the daily loop is a habit. Double of zero is zero.
- Coin shop faces — cosmetics. Rank looks and grind on the character tiers, not DPS.
No battle pass stacked on top of those two as of 29 August 2026. If one appears, patch notes will get a dated row.
Who should play
- People who like Queens / Star Battle / Sudoku variants and can respect the adjacency rule.
- Players who want a Chiikawa-shaped grid without a horror overlay.
- Anyone who will follow Scan A-D instead of a YouTube guess-fest that does not exist yet.
Who should skip
- Players hunting codes today. The codes hub is empty on purpose.
- Players hunting scripts. The scripts hub is a warning, not a paste bin.
- Players who need a shared win or a party grid. Chiidoku does not offer that. Each board is still yours alone.
- Players who only wanted Find-the-Chiikawa morph games. Different places, different verbs.
Score, said like a human
As a Roblox puzzle: recommend. As a Chiikawa crossover: recommend with the adjacency warning. As a live-service with codes, Trello, and weekly trailers: not yet. The 29 August 2026 universe bump (visits in the 237k range, about 9.4k favorites, still ~1.1k playing at check) says people are still on the grid. The missing social stack says the studio is still small.
Start on getting started, keep how to solve open, protect hearts, and treat 400 as a campaign you slice, not a night you owe the mascot. If a real dedicated walkthrough video appears, it will land mid-article on the matching guide — not here as a decoration, and not as a fake ID.
Chiidoku is easy to learn. Completing it is the product. That sentence is both the studio pitch and this review’s last line.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Chiidoku questions.
Is Chiidoku worth playing if I only have twenty minutes?
Yes. Cash dailies and one campaign board. Do not open infinite as a twenty-minute plan.
Is this the same as Chiikawa horror Roblox games?
No. Chiidoku is a solo logic grid. Horror and find-the-morph places are different experiences.
Are there working Chiidoku codes at review time?
No public active code was confirmed on 29 August 2026. See the codes list.
Does the review recommend the Robux passes?
Only after your loop works. Rank them on the game pass page, not as a beginner purchase.
