How to Unlock Chiidoku Characters
Coins in, stickers out. Keep the shop closed until the region is solved.
The unlock pipeline
- Place legal tokens using the rules in getting started.
- Finish boards in campaign, then optional infinite mode.
- Complete daily missions and collect.
- Spend coins in the character shop.
- Equip the face. Go back to the grid.
That is how to unlock Chiidoku characters. There is no hidden NPC in a second world. There is no friendship meter. There is no crafting tree. If a YouTube thumbnail promises a “secret evolution,” it is for another game.
Coins first, shop second
Read how to get coins before you grind for a specific face. The fastest legit path is overlapping dailies with campaign clears. Codes may add a bump later; none were confirmed on 29 August 2026 on the codes hub.
2x Rewards (249 Robux) speeds step 3 if you already do step 3. It does not unlock a face by itself. Rank that decision on the game pass list.
Shop discipline
- Never open the shop with a live incomplete board if you can avoid it. Memory for closed columns is fragile.
- Buy one item per session. Completionists can still go one-a-day.
- If two faces cost the same, pick the higher-contrast outline. The character tier list is a contrast list in a costume shop’s clothing.
- Do not duplicate. One equipped face is the whole bonus: joy.
What if the shop is empty
Play more puzzles. If the shop is empty after many clears, you are either not collecting daily rewards or you are looking at a cosmetic tab that is still filling as the studio adds art. A young game (launched 4 August 2026) can add faces in patches. When a new row appears, we will mention it on patch notes and the roster.
What if the shop is full and you are broke
You spent faster than you earned. That is not a puzzle fail. Skip a week of buys. Run the 15-minute daily route. Do not “borrow” coins from a script. The scripts hub is not an ATM.
Hearts during unlock grinding
People speed-clear for coins and start guessing. Guessing spends hearts and can zero a board’s payout. Slow down to Scan A–D from how to solve. The shop will not run out of stock because you took an extra minute.
Heart + 1 does not unlock characters. It only keeps a sloppy grind alive longer. If the goal is a face, 2x Rewards is the more honest Robux spend.
After you unlock
Equip the face on a bright board and check camouflage. If you lose the token on yellow tiles, switch back to default for hard campaign numbers and keep the new face for lobby screenshots. Readability is part of solving, which is why the tier list hub refuses DPS fiction.
Then close the shop. The next color region does not know you got dressed.
A sample unlock week
Monday: dailies only, no shop. Tuesday: dailies plus two campaign boards. Wednesday: open the shop, buy one face if the contrast passes the yellow-tile test on the character tier list. Thursday: skip the shop even if coins ticked up. Friday: dailies, then one infinite streak if Scan B is clean. Weekend: optional extra campaign, still one shop purchase maximum.
That week produces at most two new faces and a calmer brain. Completing the album in forty-eight hours produces a camouflaged token you will unequip.
If the price looks huge
Young shops sometimes print large coin numbers to look premium. Large is not rare power. It is a time gate. If a face costs more than several days of dailies, treat it as a monthly souvenir, not a Tuesday errand. The default mascot remains legal on every cell while you save.
If a patch discounts the shop, patch notes will say so. Do not pre-spend because a lobby promised a sale.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Chiidoku questions.
Is there a free character besides the default?
The default mascot is the guaranteed starter. Extra faces are coin purchases unless a future code gifts one.
Can I trade characters?
No trade system was listed in the catalog we reviewed.
Do I unlock characters by level number?
Progress by solving and earning coins, not by a separate XP class. Campaign level 300 is a puzzle ladder, not a character level.
Should I unlock in shop order?
No. Skip faces you will never equip. Collection is optional.
