Chiidoku Modes Hub

Three modes, one grid

Chiidoku offers three distinct ways to interact with the same placement rules. They share the four constraints but differ in structure, goal, and stamina cost.

Campaign — the teaching ladder

The 400-level numbered progression. Each stage is a handcrafted puzzle that increases in region complexity. The best place to learn the rules and build a solve routine. Start here.

Campaign walkthrough covers session planning and how to handle late-board difficulty spikes without guessing.

Endless Mode — the endurance test

Randomly generated puzzles with no level cap. Difficulty rises as you continue. After the numbered ladder, this is where the consistency practice pays off.

Endless Mode covers streak habits, stop rules, and why generated shapes demand the same scan order as campaign boards.

Win Streak — the counter

Consecutive puzzle clears tracked by the game. The exact reset behavior, persistence across sessions, and whether it crosses between Campaign and Endless are not publicly documented.

Win Streak covers how to test your own streak behavior safely and how to recover after a break.

Ready for a longer sessionEndless Mode, one streak
Testing consistencyWin Streak after warm-up
Checking daily mission progressEither, depending on the objective text

Do not mix modes when learning

The most common mistake is opening Endless Mode as a warm-up before a Campaign session. Generated boards with rising difficulty punish the same habits you are trying to train in the numbered ladder. Warm up in Campaign. Switch to Endless only after a clean solve loop.

Modes and passes

Neither Heart + 1 nor 2x Rewards Pass changes the mode structure. Heart + 1 adds one mistake allowance. 2x Rewards Pass multiplies eligible rewards. Neither mode is required. Neither mode is gated by Robux.

What the modes share

Every mode uses:

  • One Chiikawa per row, column, and color region.
  • Adjacent tokens are forbidden.
  • The same candidate scan from Solving Strategy.

When in doubt, apply the solve order from the strategy page. That process works across Campaign, Endless, and every streak attempt.

Frequently asked questions

Which mode should I play first?

Campaign. It is the designed learning path with handcrafted puzzles that introduce region complexity gradually.

Can I use Endless Mode as a warm-up?

Only after the solve scan is automatic. Using Endless to warm up before Campaign trains the wrong habits.

Do modes share a streak counter?

Not publicly confirmed. The Win Streak page explains how to test this safely.

Are there rewards specific to each mode?

No public reward table distinguishes Campaign clears from Endless clears. Read the current mission panel for objectives that name a specific mode.
